The Philips Innovation Award is the largest student-entrepreneur award in The Netherlands. In this contest, participants were challenged to be bold, disruptive and bring about their enthusiasm on their own innovative idea. Ratio has done this convincingly and made it to the final of this grand event.
Of all the submissions the best 8 ideas made it to the final challenge. Prior to this, participants went through three stages whereby they received extensive feedback from reputable consultants and coaches. As a result, 5 innovators and 3 rough diamonds presented their ideas energetically and confidently. The Rough Diamond League is a separate league for teams who just started working out their idea and have great potential. Ratio was in this category for the reason that they were not registered in the Kamer van Koophandel at that moment (this was one of the requirements for contributing in the other league: the Innovators). At the finals, the finalists pitch their business plans to the jury, the audience, and the press. Meet the jury of the Philips Innovation Award.
